
To register for EFA 2002 you must complete the registration form below. This data will be transmitted electronically. In the
next step you are asked to state your preferred method of payment. This information will not be stored or transmitted
electronically but will only appear on the invoice that will be shown. Please print out the invoice, complete your credit card details manually,
sign it and send it back by mail or fax. Alternatively, you may send a copy of the invoice together with a bank cheque. Your registration will
be confirmed per e-mail.
We strongly recommend that you register with us before June 15. After June 15 there will be a surcharge of 75 .
Deadline for advance registration is August 19. After that date, all registrations must take place at the on-site registration
desk.

The registration fee does not fully cover the conference dinner.
The conference dinner on Friday evening, August 23, will take place in the Atrium of the Debis Building situated on the Potsdamer Platz, one of Berlin’s
major tourist attractions. An extra fee of 25 will be charged for each
attending person (participants as well as accompanying persons).
Social Program
EFA 2002 offers three excursions (not included in the registration fee):
Early booking is recommended, as on-site availability cannot be guaranteed. Excursions may be cancelled or subject to
modification if the minimum number of participants is not met. Reservations will be accepted on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis.
Excursions depart from and return to Humboldt University. Cancellations must be notified by e-mail or by fax.
If your cancellation is made before August 15, a full refund will be made.

Payment
All payments are made in Euro (  ). You can choose
between three methods of payment:
Payment by credit cards
Visa, Eurocard, and Mastercard are accepted. Kindly indicate card type, card number, expiration date and the total sum on the
registration form. Please check that your name is clearly legible in the form and remember to sign it.
Payment by bank cheques
Bank cheques payable in Germany and made out to Prof. Richard Stehle / European Finance Association are also accepted. If you
wish to pay by bank cheque, you must send a copy of the printed registration form together with the bank cheque by regular mail
to the organizer. (postal address)
Payment by direct bank transfer
Especially for payments made from inside Germany, we recommend a bank transfer payment.
From outside Germany bank transfers are expensive, since all banks involved may ask for transfer charges. In this case, please
pay all transfer charges payable in your country and make sure that our bank receives the full fee. The transfer charges
payable to our bank will be debited to our account.

Cancellation
If cancellation of a registration is received in writing (regular mail, fax or e-mail) by August 10, 2002, payments will be
refunded less an administration fee of 50  . If the
cancellation is received before August 20, we will refund 50% of the fee. Refunds will be made after the meeting. No refunds
are possible for cancellations received after August 20, or for no-shows.
