Arriving in Berlin
Arriving by plane

For historical reasons Berlin has three airports:
  •
  • Berlin-Tegel (TXL) is the main airport for scheduled flights.
  •
  • Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF) offers mainly flights to eastern European destinations, Tel Aviv and charter flights.
  •
  • Berlin-Tempelhof (THF) is mainly for less important domestic destinations, but also offers flights to Brussels, Basel and Geneva.

Direct flights are typically offered to destinations within Europe only. There are e.g. no direct flights to North America or Asia.

Timetables and other airport information is available at www.berlin-airport.de (after selecting the airport click on flight schedule and afterwards again on the ‘flight schedule’ button on the right-hand side).

Because the flight capacity to Berlin is rather limited, we suggest to book your flights early.
